Welcome to the home of ben.buys.books where you will find a large and eclectic selection of historical, decorative and fine art engravings, book plates, woodcuts and photographs salvaged from broken and lesser books. Our collections include artists and engravers such as Andrew Wyeth, William Hogarth, David Roberts, Norval Morriseau, Edward S. Curtis, Raymond Katz, Ansel Adams and Max Beerbohm and many, many more. There are historical plates illustrating important moments in time and portraits of important persons in history from an 1880s Cassell's Illustrated History of England, cityscapes from the renowned late 19th century book Greater New York Illustrated, rough and naive art from a 1936 America Today, plus engravings and maps from private collections. This is but a small sample of our varied and fascinating image collection.
