VINTAGE MAPS OF JAPAN: MT. NIKKO 2 #13 Japan 1970 Very Good 20 X 17.5 UNKNOWN This is a stunning vintage map of Japan produced on specialty raw-silk like paper for which the Japanese are famous. One of a broken set, these circa 1960s-70s maps are reproductions of ancient Japanese maps from a set that originated from a museum or gallery showing of some distinction. The materials used are of handmade Japanese papers and they are on a beautiful almost butter-yellow silk feeling and slightly rough rag paper. They range from one color [black] to highly colored. Some are more obviously maps and some are city scenes as a map. They all have many Japanese markings and words but I have to leave it to the buyer to ascertain what they mean. The plates are 20"x 17.5" approximately. Many of the maps are the full size of the paper save for a small border. Some are larger than other. The picture should clarify the design but please ask if not sure. As to condition, please view the picture provided but overall these are in very good shape with hardly a rough edge or wrinkle though the odd one is inherent in the rough rag paper. Any faults that will affect the map be framed will be mentioned. Each plate has been folded and each has a light, discreet number in the lower right corner. These will look sensational framed. It is in very good condition and perfect for framing. All maps are shipped in mailing tubes and up to six [6] can be sent for the same postage and packaging cost of $8.99 to North America or $11.99 internationally. Price:

VINTAGE MAPS OF JAPAN: Nara #52 Japan 1970 Very Good 20 X 17.5 UNKNOWN This is a stunning vintage map of Japan produced on specialty raw-silk like paper for which the Japanese are famous. VINTAGE MAPS OF JAPAN: KANAZAWA ishikawa #19 Japan 1970 Very Good 20 X 17.5 UNKNOWN This is a stunning vintage map of Japan produced on specialty raw-silk like paper for which the Japanese are famous. Price:

1850s STEEL ENGRAVING - DUTCH BOATS IN A GALE - TURNER 1850 Good+ STEEL ENGRAVING 9.5" x 12.75" This is an original steel engraving a circa 1850s privately-bound collection of classic art. From the estate of a serious collector of fine art engravings featuring such artists as J.M.W. Turner, Thomas Allom, J.F. Herring and Mrs. Ward. This collector amassed a large number of plates that he had privately bound in beautiful 3/4 leather binding which fell into disrepair. All plates are titled. Both artist and engraver are indentified. All plates refer to the original collection from whence the original engraving came. Each page is 12.5"x 9.75" approximately and the picture proper varies from almost full page to the occasional engraving that is a tad smaller. As to condition, please view the picture provided but overall these are in very nice shape with only some general light ageing, dimpling, the odd spot of age-toning and chips, tears or uneven edges (nothing a qualified framer cannot deal with). There may also be bits of soiling - but they really are in very nice shape. See the picture please. These engravings are shipped flat in stiffened mailers and up to six [6] can be sent for the same postage and packaging cost of $6.99 to North America or $9.99 internationally. Price:

1850s STEEL ENGRAVING - LAODICEA - ALLOM Lycus 1850 Good+ STEEL ENGRAVING 9.5 This is an original steel engraving a circa 1850s privately-bound collection of classic art. Price:
